Tracey Geddes

CHAIRPERSON

The seed was initially planted to create a book that showcased the history of the Fairbairn Dam at a Central Highlands Cotton Growers and Irrigators Association General Meeting back in 2012. Tracey Geddes was brave enough to put her hand up to lead the subcommittee. Tracey has put in countless hours on the phone, meeting with people to collect stories and data and overall keeping the book rolling. Her contribution as a volunteer to keep the project rolling and getting it to completion has been invaluable.

Our Committee

Our small team of volunteers have been working behind the scenes for the last 7 years to source, collaborate and commit to paper as many stories about the first 40 years of Irrigation from the Fairbairn Dam. Thank you goes to the core team of Tracey Geddes, Lyn Sypher, Robyn Morawitz, Beth Burnett and Cameron Millar. Thanks also go to initial contributors Amanda Noone, Carly Kiely, Danni Ingram, Joan Millar and Susan Mass. We are also grateful to Meredith Staal and Andrea Smith for their editing contribution to the book. Without the hours that the team has put in, the book would not be a reality.
